QUINCY -- Susan Sheinfeld sat toward the back of the Richardson room Sunday afternoon and tapped her foot as Spanish vocals rang out among the bookshelves and stained glass windows of the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy.
Sheinfeld was joined by more than 50 people at a performance by vocalist Fanny Lora and pianist Yukiko Oba, the first concert in a series at the library every Sunday at 3 p.m. in March.
Lora and Oba’s performance “Andaluz” featured nearly a dozen songs, delivered entirely in Spanish and inspired by the Andalusia region of Spain, where Lora explained she visited recently for her cousin’s wedding. “It was a very charming performance,” said Sheinfeld, who moved to Quincy in November...
