"In Body and Soul" will be dedicated to Spanish music, jazz, and French art songs. Through this tour, I explore the musical roots of these genres and also how they are intrinsically connected and perfectly poised to reflect the essence of our emotions, hence my title "In Body and Soul." I will be accompanied by pianist Daniel Padgett, a professional and versatile pianist who is also passionate about these genres. "In Body and Soul" will serve as a vehicle to understand the musical and extramusical elements present in the repertoire and how they are applied to vividly reflect the essence of our emotions. Additionally, this recital extends the audience the opportunity to encounter a unique repertoire that is rarely presented together. I am very excited about this tour and exploring the connections between these three musical traditions.
